Kazakhstan has officially launched First Central Asia Solan Economic zone (sez), which means the main step towards the ambition to become a regional crypt and a blockchain center.

According to the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Air Industry Kazakhstan (DMAI), the zone is modeled after successful initiatives such as the Dubai Multi Commodity Center (DMCC), which supports the growth of digital assets through regulatory clarity and infrastructure support.
Kazakhstan plans to launch a tokenized pilot of capital markets including Astana International Exchange (AIX), Jupiter, Intebix and Solan Foundation in a broader understanding with the Solana Foundation.
The aim of this pilot is to integrate tokenized assets into the financial markets in Kazakhstan and lay the foundations for the financial system driven by blockchain.
In parallel, the partnership will present the National Educational Program for developers focused on Rust and Blockchain engineering. This initiative is designed to build local web3 expertise and attract global company Blockchain with incentives such as regulatory instructions and access to infrastructure.
The Minister of Digital Development Zapasian Madiyev emphasized the strategic nature of the project and said Kazakhstan undertakes to build a competitive digital environment. He noted that the season would serve as a platform for experimenting with asset token and upgrading the next generation of blockchain developers.
