Crypto Gemini triggered tokenized Strategy (Mstr) shares customers in the EU, which means the beginning of its introduction of tokenized US stocks on blockchain networks.
The offer, allowed through a partnership with the Dinari tokenization platform, allows Gemini users to buy fragmentation strategy shares such as on-sectors supported by real securities.
Tokens MSTR will originally be available on the Arbiter (ARB), with plans to expand for other networks in the near future, the stock exchange said in its 27th June 27 June notification.
Gemini said this step aims to democratize access to American actions by combining traditional shares with 24/7 liquidity and the availability of crypto markets.
According to the Exchange:
“Anyone in the world with a smartphone and internet connection can gain access to tokenized American stocks like MSTR on Blockchain.”
In the coming days, the company plans to add additional tokenized shares and ETF, place the product as a way to “export US stocks around the world” and allow financial participation without borders.
Gemini emphasized that tokenized shares grant the same economic rights as basic shares, if allowed, and at the same time provided benefits such as fractional ownership, reduced friction of transactions, and direct settlement of the on-line.
Tokenized shares have appeared as an alternative gateway to the US stock markets for global investors who face high cost conversion costs and limited intermediation access.
Gemini said that the opening is part of his wider vision to modernize financial rails by merging traditional assets with blockchain infrastructure.
Gemini is one of the first major exchanges to monitor tokenized stocks in jurisdictions focused on harmony. The opening comes in the middle of a growing institutional interest in digital asset for the traditional settlement of securities and binding.
