Ledgerthe French leader in the protection of digital assets, has announced that its flagship software, Ledger Live, will be renamed to Ledger wallet.
The post was published during Ledger Op3n eventheld on October 23 at the company’s headquarters in Paris, where BitDegree was among the invited guests.
For years, Ledger has been best known for its hardware wallets. Complementing these devices, Ledger Live served as the company’s comprehensive companion application that enables users to manage assets, track balances and securely transact.

Now, under its new name, Ledger Wallet, the platform is no longer just a hardware companion; it is a a complete, secure digital value management hub. The updated interface is designed to simplify user interaction with centralized and decentralized finance.
In addition to existing buy, sell, trade and exchange services, Ledger Wallet introduces deeper integrations with Web3 tools and services, such as the ability to direct connection to decentralized applications (dApps).
Another notable addition to Ledger Wallet is its integration with Noahfintech platform that bridges traditional banking systems with blockchain infrastructure.
Through this partnership, Ledger wallet users can to approach Noah’s Cash-to-Stablecoin featurewhich allows them to convert fiat currencies directly to USDC
