Ripple’s Chris Larsen’s Crypto Fortune Soars: Details

Co-Founder and Chairman of Ripple Chris Larsen has seen his crypto fortune skyrocket over the years, with on-chain data revealing more than $764 million in realized profits.

According to market daycommunity analyst CryptoQuant, co-founder of Ripple has earned approximately $764,209,610.42 as of January 2018 (this number remains an estimate). At the current price of $2.39, XRP is up 355% annually, according to CoinGecko data, contributing to the increase in Ripple’s chairman’s XRP fortune.

Larsen owns over 2.5 billion XRP, according to xrpscan data spread across various wallets.

A look at xrpscan’s top accounts by wallet, a metric that lists the top 10,000 XRP balances, identifies six wallets named after Ripple’s chairman, who sit in the top 50.

Wallets include: Chris Larsen (1) holding 500,000,000 XRP, Chris Larsen (2) containing 450 million XRP, while Chris Larsen (3) holding 500,000,001 XRP, Chris Larsen (4) containing 500,000,001 XRP, Chris, Chris, Chris X289RP (9) (6) containing 300,188,448. That’s a total of 2,532,688,426 XRP worth $6 billion ($6,053,125,338) at the current XRP price of $2.39.

Of these wallets, numbers one through four still hold about 500 million XRP and have never made any outgoing transfers. These funds were received by Larsen as a gift from the founder in 2013. Wallet #5 was in a sale event during 2025 and reduced its holding from 500 million XRP to the current 282 million XRP.

Chris Larsen’s investment in Evernorth

Earlier in the week, Evernorth, a first-of-its-kind institutional vehicle created to accelerate XRP adoption, announced that it had entered into a commercial agreement with Armada Acquisition Corp II – a transaction expected to raise more than $1 billion – to create the largest public XRP treasury company on Nasdaq under “XRPN”.

Rippling Chairman Chris Larsen participated in the transaction with an XRP investment of $50 million, along with SBI, Ripple, Rippleworks, Pantera Capital, Kraken and GSR.

In his tweet, Larsen hails the launch of Evernorth as what fills the missing link in XRP capital markets and the use of XRP in DeFi products today, and announced a $50 million investment derived from his XRP wallets.
