‘Crypto Mayor’ Eric Adams Calls for End to New York’s BitLicense

“She was not a big intellect. She was not a big government regulator. She was not a philosophical intellectual person who wanted to decide what would be the foundation of our country,” Adams said. “She was an ordinary person like you and me-people with blue collar, but that flag still stands today, and that’s what Bitcoin is.”

Repeating his early support of the crypto, including the conversion of his first mayor wages in Bitcoin and EthereumAdams said he believed in innovation and that he wanted to make a New York City leader in the cryptum industry and a place where investors and developers could progress without being “attacked or criminalized”.
