Blockchain Development Company Moca Foundation announced the launch of Moca Chain, the new blockchain layer 1 focused on the identity and authentication of data maintaining privacy.
The MOC string is the purpose of the 1 blockchain layer for identity and users’ management applications, Moca Foundation notified Wednesday.
The aim of the network is to support the development of identity protocols that allow individuals, devices and agents to control and verify their credentials without relying on centralized service providers.
The testnet is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2025, with the foundation introduced by the foundation planned to deploy mainnet, said the foundation.
The MOC string allows you to verify onchain and offchain user data using applications in any string, claimed the foundation. The system will use Moca token for transactions, verification, storage, Oracle services, data generation and verification.

What is under the hood?

“The Moca string is trying to solve this problem by providing users decentralized the actual ownership of their data and ensuring the sovereignty of the digital identity of users without a single failure.”
