‘Bitcoin Standard’ author backs funding dev to make spamming Bitcoin costly

Ekonom and author of Bitcoin Standard, Saifedean Ammous, consider the ongoing debate on the Bitcoin network, suggesting that it “throws several sat” to fund full -time developers to make Bitcoin’s Spam more difficult.

Ammous made notes in response to a fiber initiated by a pseudonymous developer Grassfedbitcoin, which called on the bitcoin core to combine the request for request #28408, allowing nodes to filter the inscriptions more easily.

Ammous compares bitcoin spam with -mail

The conversation reflects the ongoing voltage in the bitcoin community about the intended network use. Since the inscriptions continue to take over the network, they require technical countermeasures – and show the criticism of those who defend spam – grow louder.
