Google Confirms Alt Text Is Not Primarily An SEO Decision

Google’s John Mueller shared Bluesky Post Jeffrey Zeldman, reminiscent of publishers and SEO -ALT’s proper use of the text of Alt, including a connection to the W3C Decision Decision. The most important step is that the decision -making procedure for the Alt text is not primarily a decision.

3. Does the picture contribute to the meaning of the current page or context?
4. Is the picture purely decorative or not intended for users?
5. Isn’t the use of the image above or is it unclear what the alt text provide?
