Google Launches AI Phone Assistant To Call Businesses For You

Google has launched a new tool called “Ask Me” that uses AI to help you make phone calls for local companies.

“Ask me” is designed to simplify the procedure for calling multiple companies to compare quotes and schedule a meeting.

This feature is first developed for automatic repairs and nail salons, and after this initial experiment it can be expanded to other companies.

“Ask me” is available to people in the United States that are signed up through Google’s Seach Labs.

How does “Ask for me” act

If you are in the US, you can sign up via the destination page.

Clicking on switching button will activate the “Trying” button.

By clicking on “Trying” you will send you to a list of examples of inquiries to try.

The “ask for me” feature is still in the testing phase, so it may not be available to everyone.

Companies can decide not to receive automated calls if they prefer it. The participating companies will be informed of automated calls.
