Ad with the false version of Jamie Lee Curtis was demolished from the meta platform May 12 after the actor publicly criticized the company and his executive director Mark Zuckerberg.
The video, created by artificial intelligence (AI), used old shots from the news interview and replaced his true voice with a speech that generated AI to promote the product with which she had nothing to do with.
Curtis said it was first tried to handle the situation privately by reaching out to Meta and Zuckerberg. When she didn’t get an answer, she went public with Post on InstagramMarking Zuckerberg and writing: “He came to this Zuck.”
