With TikTok close to existence removed from USASnapchat has launched a new campaign to highlight its creators and how people can find creative, original talent on its app.
Snap’s “Find your favorites on Snapchat” campaign launched through digital channels in the USwill feature a series of Snap stars talking about the content they create and how you can find them on the app.
Yes, it’s a pretty obvious appeal to TikTok users and creators who are moving.
According to Snapchat:
“We offer our creators a variety of ways to succeed on Snapchat. Our efforts to support creators contributed to an approximately 50% year-over-year increase in the number of creators posting content in the third quarter of 2024. We reported that total time spent watching content on Snapchat increased by 25% year-over-year, and Spotlight to average more than 500 million monthly active users in Q3 2024.”
Snap additionally highlights its recently updated creator monetization programwhich now merges its Spotlight and Stories monetization programs into one stream. It also has its own Snap Star Collab Studio to enable partnerships between creators/brands, as well as avenues for certain creators to monetize through the app.
So why not choose Snap? Why go to IG when you can just get to a good place instead?
That’s pretty much the gist of the campaign, and Snap is looking to bolster its audience following the unfortunate removal of TikTok from the region.

And maybe Snap could benefit from that, especially given the recent backlash against Meta due to it conversely about content moderation.
As such, this could be a smart, timely push from Snap.
