“Once it is safe to reopen our LA offices, we also plan to offer YouTube production capacity to affected creators and artists as they begin to recover and rebuild their businesses. In the coming months, we will also be hosting a number of events to bring the YouTube creative community together – creating a space to connect and share resources.”

The combined loss of resources and outlets will greatly threaten the creative economy, and that’s before you factor in the loss of homes and personal belongings that will cause widespread effects.

As such, YouTube could play a big role in helping LA creatives get back on their feet.
