Digiday Media events get a refresh under Liz Pitonyak’s leadership


Digiday events are getting a refresh under the leadership of Liz Pitonyak, who joined the company as general manager of events in December.

She joins Digiday Media with 15 years of experience in event strategy and partnerships, most recently managing event initiatives at Adweek and Forbes. He will oversee events for Digiday, Glossy, Modern Retail and WorkLife.

“I have dedicated my career to creating transformative experiences that resonate with target audiences, amplify brand stories and deliver measurable business results,” said Pitonyak.

Pitonyak said her goal for 2025 was to create events that “inform, inspire and foster meaningful connections.” Among the changes will be key programmatic initiatives to reimagine event formats, from panel discussions to immersive Q&A sessions.

Pitonyak said she will remain laser-focused on the depth of interactions during Digiday events, introducing matchmaking and gamification in artificial intelligence networks.
